David Duchin

David Duchin is a semi-pro photographer in Dallas, Texas, and a member of the Professional Photographers Association.  He is the sole proprietor of DSPN Photos, an event photography company which he began with a Nikon D70.  He started the business shooting sporting events and theatre performances and has evolved his business to now focus on private Simcha events and corporate events.  David is active in the Men’s Club at Congregation Beth Torah in Richardson, Texas and serves as the immediate past president of the Men’s Club.  He also serves as one of two Anshei Darom regional reps on the FJMC Board.  He is married and has three grown children.
Guest Speaker:
Andy Fandel

Andy Fandel is a photography enthusiast in Sharon, MA.  He enjoys taking sports photos for his kids’ high school and club teams and sharing them with the athletes and parents.  His other photography passion is taking landscape photos. Andy currently serves as one of the directors for Temple Israel Brotherhood of Sharon and as the communication secretary for the New England Region FJMC.   He is married with four kids, three seniors graduating soon from Sharon High School and one graduating soon from UMASS.
 

Join us on Tuesday April 20, 2021 at 8PM EST with guest speakers, David Duchin and Andy Fandel.

We will share techniques for getting that magic picture - as well as defining what the magic picture is and the limits of cameras versus phones. We have an email setup for ongoing interaction. For this meeting, please send your questions about sports photography and/or share your favorite sports pictures by sending them to photography@fjmc.org and we will try to share them with the group.
