Michael is a graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Michael was a Sports Reporter for KYW-TV in Philadelphia and then became Sports Director for WLVI-TV in Boston. He returned to Philadelphia to be Host of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Michael has hosted Eagles Post Game Live. Michael hosts Postgame live programs for the Phillies, Flyers and Sixers when ever the team is in or near the playoffs.

Michael served as field reporter for USA Network's coverage of the Us Open Tennis Championships.

His career has involved the NCAA. He has covered the Final Four and Fiesta Bowl for CBS , as well as Big 5 Basketball events and telecasts.

Michael's career also has included reporting for CBS. With CBS he has covered major events including the Olympic Winter Games.
