December 1, 2024

Overheard at a recent Men’s Club meeting: (not an actual conversation)

Steve:  Sunday, February 9, 2025, will be a “Super” day - around the world, people will gather with their family and friends, wear special attire, enjoy camaraderie and good food and have a great time!

Bill:  Yes, I’m really looking forward to the game. Not to mention the commercials!

Steve:  Game Schame!  I’m not talking about that - I’m talking about the World Wide Wrap which is always held the morning of the game.

Every year, FJMC in partnership with the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, sponsors the World Wide Wrap to encourage the use of tefillin throughout the Jewish world. Men and women who may be experienced tefillin users and those who haven’t even considered wearing them share in the mitzvah.  It is a great experience for the entire family!

FJMC provides so much great information on its website to help you make your event a huge success - it’s all there for you.  Please click here for more information.  You’re sure to find ideas to make your event the best it can be.

And for your children, we offer the Build a Pair Program.  This program teaches children about tefillin while they build their own.  Please visit https://wrap.fjmc.org/program/build-a-pair/ to find out more.

And if your club is from a tradition other than Masorti, why not make it an educational event?  You can have a Torah study or involve your religious school in talking about holidays or Israel.

We hope you enjoy both big events on February 9, 2025!

Thank you.

In Brotherhood,

Alan Budman
