New Giving Opportunity.Your Foundation for Jewish Life is excited to announce that at our December 2025 Board Meeting, the Foundation’s leadership approved a new category entitled Designated Temporarily Restricted Funds (“DTRF”) as a new giving opportunity. With a DTRF, a donor is able to define the intent and purposes for which donated amounts and their income will be spent and have those amounts spent over a specified time frame, rather than having them preserved in perpetuity.
Ross Health & Wellness Fund. We are proud to announce that the first DTRF, entitled the Ross Health and Wellness Fund, has been established by Mitch and Heather Ross! Mitch serves on the FJMC Executive Committee and as a board member of the Foundation.
Want More Information? If you would like more information on this giving opportunity, please contact Doug Segerman, the Foundation Endowments Committee Chairman at doug.segerman@fjmc.org, or Steve Dix, the Chairman of the Foundation for Jewish Life, at sdix@fjmc.org.
Repro Shabbat is an annual Shabbat celebration that honors the Jewish value of reproductive freedom. It takes place annually on Parshat Mishpatim, which contains the verses commonly referenced as the foundation of Judaism’s approach to reproductive health, rights, and justice. Individuals and communities across the world gather to celebrate Repro Shabbat and the Jewish traditions it honors.
National Council of Jewish Women invites you to join our annual Shabbat celebration honoring the Jewish value of reproductive freedom. Sign up to bring a Repro Shabbat event to your home or community.
During these troubled times, our HaD’var publication wants to shine some light on the world by showcasing Hanukkah celebrations from around the FJMC world.
So send in your best Hanukkah menorah or other photo for us to include in a collage that will be included for publication in our January edition.
Submit your photos or videos of the Build-A-Pair students wearing their "model" Tefillin at your World Wide Wrap, and your Men's Club could be a winner in categories like Funniest, Most Serious, Largest Group, and Most Creative. Please see flyer for further details.
