(masortiolami.org) June 29, 2026 - On behalf of the Board of Masorti Olami, the World Council of Synagogues, Inc., we are very pleased to announce that Tehila Reuben will assume the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer, beginning July 1, 2026.

At the FJMC International 2025 Convention, Tehila received the FJMC Excellence in Partnership Award on behalf of Masorti Olami. She is the connection between FJMC International and the footprint Masorti Olami represents, which includes over 2 million Jews in at least six regions around the world. Tehila introduced us to our brothers in the UK who are organizing an FJMC International retreat for UK and mainland Europeans to be held in March, 2027 in Brighton, England. She is also helping us connect similarly with prospective brothers in South America and Israel while also supporting the significant work of our organizational initiative to benefit the Abayudaya community in Uganda. Our appreciation for her work extends not only to what she does to help us but also how she does it. Tehila is kind, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, articulate, thoughtful and sincere. No one deserves to be in a leadership role more than Tehila Reuben. We wish her all the best always!
