He received his medical degree from Columbia Universit y Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has a special interest in the management of orthope dic injuries\, especially shoulder\, elbow and knee. Dr. Schwartzbach init ially became interested in orthopedics because of his many injury visits a s an active youngster. This interest became a passion\, first in college d oing orthopedic research and then in medical school taking care of patient s with musculoskeletal ailments.
