 ix years\, and then as editor-in-chief of Politix. He also served as an ed
 itor at CNN during the 2016 election cycle. Most recently\, he  was a sen
 ior editor at the Washington Examiner and is now managing editor for the W
 ashington Examiner magazine.\n\nDavid has appeared regularly as a politica
 l analyst on TV and radio newscasts\, and has spoken or lectured about pol
 icy and politics in academic and other settings nationwide\, as well as in
  20 countries on trips through the U.S. State Department and European Unio
 n\, including Australia\, Austria\, Belgium\, Botswana\, Fiji\, Finland\,
