Most of these refugees were women and children who fled for days or weeks to e scape Russian bombings and ongoing terror attacks.\nUpon returning home\, Jeff founded Project Aid &\; Rescue\, Inc. (PAR)\, a grassroots\, volun teer 501c3 charity organization based in Northbrook. PAR's purpose is to p rovide humanitarian aid in the form of medical supplies\, food\, and evacu ation support to those in need. Through September 2003\, this aid was prim arily focused on Ukraine.\nFollowing the Hamas terrorist attacks that bega n October 7\, 2023\, Jeff and PAR shifted their focus to supporting the ne eds of Israel as they combat Hamas.
