 t may have brought on the attacks.\n Stan Greenspan was born in Trail\, B
 C and raised in Toronto\, ON\, where he lives with his wife of over 46 yea
 rs\, Vanessa\, and is the father of Nicole (Tel Aviv) &amp\; Jessie (Toron
 to). A graphic artist and internet developer\, Stan graduated in the first
  baccalaureate class in Image Arts Programme from Ryerson Polytechnical Un
 iversity in Toronto. Stan has been involved in the Zionist almost since bi
 rth\, along with synagogue organizations and the FJMC for over 35 years\, 
 beginning at Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue\, the Sunnybrook Hospital Je
 wish Chapel and Bathurst Manor Jewish Centre. Stan has served the FJMC in 
 many roles and was the FJMC International President from 2017 to 2019.\n\n
 Currently the president of MERCAZ-Canada\, Stan was honoured to be a membe
 r of the Masorti Movement Leadership Mission to provide witness of the Oct
 ober 7th atrocities. The mission to Israel took place from November 5 to 9
 \, 2023\, where the group visited K’far Aza\, Ofakim and Nitivot as well
  as several meetings in Jerusalem\, which included an audience with Presid
 ent Isaac Herzog.\n\nStan serves as a member of the Executive Committee\, 
 Zionist General Council\, where he has been the Masorti Movement’s membe
 r of the WZO Budget Committee which controls the near billion dollar annua
 l spending. Stan ensured that the FJMC\, WLCJ and Cantors Assembly and oth
 ers in our world wide movement all received new and significant Israel pro
 gramming grants from 2020 to 2025.\n\nStan has represented the MERCAZ and 
 Masorti at 5 World Zionist Congress and has led our Canadian delegation at
  the Virtual Congress in 2020\, the 125th Anniversary Zionist Congress\, B
 asel\, Switzerland and the most recent Congress\, the 75th Anniversary Wor
