Af ter serving as the rabbi of the Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation for seven years\, Rabbi Hillel and his family moved to Columbus in the summer of 2018 where he now serves as Senior Rabbi of Congregation Tifereth Israe l.\nRabbi Hillel is a member of the Extended Executive of the World Zionis t Organization\, a board member of the American Zionist Movement and of Me rcaz USA.  Rabbi Hillel also serves on the board of the Columbus Jewish D ay School.Before beginning Brandeis University in 2002\, Rabbi Hillel spen t the year in Israel as a participant on the Nativ Leadership Program wher e he enjoyed wonderful learning at the Conservative Yeshiva as well as vol unteering in the potato and carrot fields of Kibbutz Saad. In December of 2005\, he graduated Brandeis University (cum laude) earning degrees in Pol itics and Near Eastern Judaic Studies.\n\nRabbis Hillel and his wife\, Rab bi Sharon Barr Skolnik\, reside in Bexley with their three children.\n\n&n bsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\nStan Greenspan was born in Trail\, BC and raised in Toron to\, ON\, where he lives with his wife of over 47 years\, Vanessa\, and is the father of Nicole (Tel Aviv) and Jessie (Toronto). A graphic artist an d internet developer\, Stan graduated in the first baccalaureate class in Image Arts Programme from Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto.\nSt an has been involved in the Zionist almost since birth\, along with synago gue organizations and the FJMC for over 35 years\, beginning at Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue\, the Sunnybrook Hospital Jewish Chapel and Bathurs t Manor Jewish Centre. Stan has served the FJMC in many roles and was the FJMC International President from 2017 to 2019.\nWhile currently presiden t of MERCAZ-Canada\, he will be concluding his term in early February a nd will become the president of the Canadian Zionist Federation\, Canada ’s overall representative to the WZO.\n\nStan was honored to be a member of the Masorti Movement Leadership Mission to provide a witness of the Oc tober 7th atrocities. The mission to Israel took place from November 5 to 9\, 2023\, where the group visited K’far Aza\, Ofakim and Nitivot as wel l as several meetings in Jerusalem\, which included an audience with Presi dent Isaac Herzog.\n\nStan serves as a member of the Executive Committee\, Zionist General Council\, where he has been the Masorti Movement’s memb er of the WZO Budget Committee which controls the near billion dollars ann ual spending. Stan ensured that the FJMC\, WLCJ and Cantors Assembly and o thers in our worldwide movement all received new and significant Israel pr ogramming grants from 2020 to 2025.\n\nStan has represented the MERCAZ and Masorti at 5 World Zionist Congress and has led our MERCAZ-Canada delegat ion at the Virtual Congress in 2020\, the 125th Anniversary Zionist Congre ss\, Basel\, Switzerland and the most recent Congress\, the 75th Anniversa ry World Zionist Congress\, Jerusalem\, 2023.\n\nStan is looking forward t o the next Congress in October of 2025 where he will lead the Canadian del egation as it’s national president.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?
