Aft er serving as the rabbi of the Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation for s even years\, Rabbi Hillel and his family moved to Columbus in the summer o f 2018 where he now serves as Senior Rabbi of Congregation Tifereth Israel . Rabbi Hillel is a member of the Extended Executive of the World Zionist Organization\, a board member of the American Zionist Movement and of Merc az USA.  Rabbi Hillel also serves on the board of the Columbus Jewish Day School.\n\nBefore beginning Brandeis University in 2002\, Rabbi Hillel sp ent the year in Israel as a participant on the Nativ Leadership Program wh ere he enjoyed wonderful learning at the Conservative Yeshiva as well as v olunteering in the potato and carrot fields of Kibbutz Saad.
