 ka's Francis and Nathan Kirsh Trauma Center and Emergency Department have 
 tirelessly treated over 1\,400 wounded patients\, with a significant numbe
 r in critical condition.\nDr. Sapir Bitton\nDr. Biton’s was in her first
  solo shift as a psychiatrist in the ER of Soroka Hospital. For 38 hours s
 he treated the countless number of wounded. At the same time\, she was wor
 rying about her family besieged in Kibbutz Erez just over the border with 
 Gaza.\nDr. Shlomi Codish\nDr. Shlomi Codish is the Director General of Sor
 oka Medical Center. His impressive educational background includes Ben Gur
 ion University Medical School\, residency in Internal Medicine at Soroka M
 edical Center\, and a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Informatics at Ya
 le University. His outstanding leadership skills have led him to pivotal r
 oles in the Israeli healthcare system\, including Medical Director of the 
 Southern Region of Clalit Health Services. Dr. Codish is a strong advocate
  for implementing technology\, innovation and collaboration to drive medic
 al advances\, helping Soroka contribute deeply to global health . Under hi
 s leadership\, key performance metrics\, as reported by the Israeli Minist
 ry of Health\, such as Infection control\, elevated Soroka to its status a
 s a top hospital in Israel.\nDr. Codish’s leadership during these challe
 nging times has been extraordinary. On October 7 he acquired a new credent
 ial - having presided over the largest mass casualty hospital response in
