That's right\, you guessed it: Sukkot is here! And there is something wonderfully strange about the objects Judais m hands us on Sukkot. At a moment when American culture is engaged in an a nxious debate about men and masculinity\, Judaism does not hand men a weap on\, a trophy or a throne. It gives us a fragile hut\, a palm branch and a piece of fruit. There is deep wisdom for men in Sukkot and its ritual obj ects. \n\nJoin Rabbi Raucher for this exploration of what Sukkot can tea ch us about being men.\n\n\n\n\n\nRabbi Noam Raucher\, a native of Hamden\ , Connecticut\, is the product of a  joyfully Jewish upbringing\, having attended: a Solomon Schechter Day School\, Camp Ramah\, USY\, and Hillel a t Hofstra University. He was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic St udies in 2011\, and has served as a pulpit rabbi and educator on the east and west coasts\; first at Temple Israel\, Charlotte\, North Carolina\; an d later at the Pasadena Jewish Temple &\; Center in Pasadena\, Californ ia.\n\nDuring the pandemic\, Rabbi Noam received certification and started a practice as a Spiritual Coach for men\, and a Divorce Coach for Jews. H is podcast\, "The Jewish Divorce Project" has received thousands of downlo ads and nationwide praise.\n\nRabbi Noam has also been an active participa nt and speaker in the modern men’s movement since 2018. He served as a l ocal men’s Group Facilitator\, and Regional Group Coordinator\, for the organization\, the Mankind Project. After the pandemic\, Rabbi Noam taught middle Judaic school at Pressman Academy in Los Angeles.
