We regret to inform you of the passing of Stephen Lachter, one of the founders of FJMC International’s Keruv initiative. He was an active member of Adas Israel Men’s Club in Washington, DC, (now reaffiliated as Adas Israel Brotherhood) and a past International officer.

Stephen Lachter, 81 years, passed away on August 6, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

We extend our sincerest condolences to the entire Lachter Family. We pray that they be comforted among the mourners of Zion, and Jerusalem.

May the legacy of Stephen Lachter be a source of blessing and comfort to all who knew and loved him. May his memory be for a blessing.
