How do we get younger men to join? That's the big quandary facing all of us in FJMC. And our future depends on it. See what our leadership says, and check out a couple of examples of success stories that have worked - one in suburban Boston, and one outside Cleveland.

Let's look back at what we have accomplished, what we are doing now, and what we are planning. But there's one thing missing to make it all succeed: You.

A minyan isn't just about 10 people being needed for prayer. It's about coming together for strength. That's what a men's club or brotherhood is all about, and why it's needed - to combat loneliness.

Planning is already underway for the 2027 Rabbi Joel S. Geffen Leadership Development Institute in Baltimore, as we work to cultivate the next generation of FJMC leaders at the club, regional and international levels.

Israeli music has come a long way in the last few decades, with modern artists belting out songs rivaling those found in the United States and Europe, and competing in Eurovision. Our Jason Hecht will take us on a regular tour through Israel's musical world.

For July, here's to America's milestone independence celebration, with "God Bless America" in English and Yiddish, and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in Hebrew.

As FJMC International works to spread our wings worldwide, we're now introducing a new international Yizkor Book, while promoting the opportunity to watch High Holy Day services from around the globe. Check it out.

With eight states from Hawaii to Colorado, getting together is no small feat for the Western Region.

The New England Region met up June 4-7 at Camp Jori in Rhode Island.

Hudson Valley, Middle Atlantic, New York Metro and Northern New Jersey met up June 12-14 in Lakewood, Pa.

Seaboard met up June 19-21 at Pearlstone in Baltimore.

If there's one thing that can be said about FJMC, its members, and our events, it's that, despite all of our seriousness, we like to loosen up. And while it's certainly not all about having a good drink, there's certainly nothing wrong with one either. So our own Al Davis will be curating some of your best recommendations.

What type of world would we be leaving for the next generation, if we do nothing about nuclear proliferation, terrorism, instability and global conflicts that affect not just nations and governments, but eventually every community, family and individual?

FJMC is continuing its effort to work with Kulanu to collect unused or extra tefillin or tallitot, to be distributed to Jewish communities in need around the world. It's a mitzvah, and we hope these communities will join us next year for World Wide Wrap. Donations now being accepted! Help us help our fellow Jews.
