Summertime – a time to reflect

What we have done and what we can do

Yes, it is that time of year again. Most people take time to slow down, recharge, reset, reinvigorate.

With Canada Day and July 4th coming up, it’s a great time to be with family and friends, count our blessings and take a deep breath.

Now is also a great time to reflect on all that FJMC and all our members have accomplished since last year’s convention.FJMC Logo Color wTagline JPG

Now that we have an excellent mission statement and a vision for the present into the future, we are now introducing our fantastic new logo. Stay tuned for more information.

We’ve had great retreats – Ansh-eh Zafon, Florida, Anshe Darom, Midwest, Western, New England/Connecticut Valley, MAR/NNJ/NY Metro/Hudson Valley and Seaboard, with KIO+/TriState coming up in the fall.

Our committees have been hard at work – Yellow Candles, Quality Club, Engaging Younger Men, Engaging Individual Members, Hearing Men’s Voices.

Our publications – HaD’var, the Sunday webinar digest, the Wednesday weekly digest – all keep you informed of important information. We also have:

  • Pride and Prejudice – to keep you included
  • L’Chaim – to keep you healthy
  • And our newest publication – Catalyst – to provide education and resources to keep you in the fight against antisemitism.

And of course, it is NOT too early to start your plans to join us at our next international convention in San Francisco from July 8th to 11th, 2027.

But we need your help to make this all work and succeed. And we want your help to expand what we are able to accomplish, as we continue on our mission and our journey.

So if you would like to contribute to or work on any of these committees, please let me know.

Yours in brotherhood.
