A Jewish Spiritual Structure & Practice for Men
with Rabbi Noam Raucher, FJMC Executive Director

Tuesday, February 20, 2024
9pm ET • 8pm CT • 7pm MT • 6pm PT

There is a great awakening taking place toward the inherent patriarchal structure that shapes men’s lives, often in unhealthy ways. Many men have begun to realize the tradition of “being a man” doesn’t serve them.

However, Judaism, an ancient spiritual path that has sustained generations of individuals through difficult times, also offers a system of guidance and growth that men can use to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. The structure laid out here consists of Hillel’s existential questions, and several Jewish ideas offered as regular practices.

Rabbi Noam Raucher
FJMC Executive Director

Rabbi Noam Raucher, a native of Hamden, Connecticut, is the product of a  joyfully Jewish upbringing, having attended: a Solomon Schechter Day School, Camp Ramah, USY, and Hillel at Hofstra University. He was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2011, and has served as a pulpit rabbi and educator on the east and west coasts; first at Temple Israel, Charlotte, North Carolina; and later at the Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center in Pasadena, California.

During the pandemic, Rabbi Noam received certification and started a practice as a Spiritual Coach for men, and a Divorce Coach for Jews. His podcast, “The Jewish Divorce Project” has received thousands of downloads and nationwide praise.

Rabbi Noam has also been an active participant and speaker in the modern men’s movement since 2018. He served as a local men’s Group Facilitator, and Regional Group Coordinator, for the organization, the Mankind Project. After the pandemic, Rabbi Noam taught middle Judaic school at Pressman Academy in Los Angeles. He has been serving as FJMC’s Executive Director since June 2023.

In his spare time, Rabbi Noam enjoys being outdoors and hiking, interacting with his two sons, Judah and Elijah, exercising, podcasting and searching for the best breakfast burrito in town.

We look forward to seeing you virtually at this event.
