This Hearing Men’s Voices (HMV) session creates a safe space for Jewish men to have honest conversations about domestic violence, a crisis that affects our community at rates similar to the general population.
Through guided questions rooted in Jewish texts, participants will explore their own experiences with masculinity and anger, times they witnessed warning signs, and what accountability and healthy relationships look like in their lives.
Drawing on Torah, Talmud, and rabbinic wisdom, participants will discover that true strength lies in self-control, that shalom bayit (peace in the home) cannot come at the cost of safety, and that we are all responsible for one another.
This session encourages men to move from silence to strength, becoming active agents of positive change.
