The Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs is leading the movement to get more men meaningfully involved in Jewish life throughout all denominations of Jewish communities. Our membership includes more than 200 clubs and 20,000 men worldwide. The FJMC is open to all Jewish men, regardless of race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and physical and emotional abilities.
For years, the FJMC has operated mainly in the United States and Canada, but we have also made in-roads to supporting male involvement in Jewish life in Argentina, Mexico, India, Israel, and Uganda.
The Jewish people have had a particularly difficult year, and we believe strongly that now is the time to rally Jewish men around the world to reinvigorate Jewish life with our passion, creativity, and leadership. FJMC men hold an important role in their synagogue communities – supporting ritual activities, building community sukkot, encouraging exercise and mental health among our men, developing synagogue leaders, and leading service projects and social events on behalf of our synagogues – all with the goal of serving our communities and supporting men. Is your synagogue ready to launch a men’s club? We’ve got the experience and resources to help you start your club, to manage your club, to build a calendar of events, and to raise the involvement and passion of your synagogue’s men to the betterment of your entire community.
Please reach out to our International Committee Chair, Jerry Brodsky, for more information on how to get your synagogue involved with the FJMC!
