
Every year on Pesach, we turn to the Maggid portion of the Haggadah, and read of the story of the Exodus from Egypt long ago, and how G-d took us out of slavery and into freedom, eventually to the Land of Israel.
But this year, the story of Passover may have extra resonance for some people, who found themselves in Israel or other parts of the Middle East when the United States and Israel attacked Iran, triggering the ongoing war – and temporarily trapping them. Phil Margolis from Connecticut Valley Region and Stan Schnitzer from Anshei Darom are among those whose travel was disrupted, and whose return trips were complicated.
