High Holiday Streaming

As Jews around the globe begin preparing for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in September, the International Region is pleased to announce it will provide over a dozen options for you to attend High Holiday services virtually from synagogues around the world.

Besides a diverse set of North American options in the United States and Canada that most FJMC members are already aware of, we want to connect you to livestreamed services from our fellow Jewish communities in England, France, Australia, Hungary, Argentina and other countries. It’s an opportunity to see how our religious observance can be both diverse but familiar no matter where we are, and to explore the different traditions that have evolved, and the different cultures that shape us.

We have begun preparing a list of synagogues and websites for you to experience (see below). If you are aware of other synagogues around the world that stream their services that you think should be on our list of options, email  with the synagogue’s name, city and country, and its website.
