We are very pleased to announce that registration for the 2027 Leadership Development Institute in Baltimore next January is now live and ready for signup. We are very excited about our plans for LDI 2027, which will be held Jan. 28-31, 2027, at the Pearlstone Retreat Center.
Attendance at LDI is by invitation only but LDI is a core part of the work that FJMC and its regions do, because we’re strengthening our bench and building the leadership for the future. LDI is not only a great introduction to FJMC for those new to the regional or international levels, but also an incredible opportunity to learn and cultivate new leadership skills that can be used anywhere, while also building community for Jewish men. Just ask someone who’s attended this weekend Shabbaton full of Friendship, Mentoring, Judaism and Community.
So if you are interested in growing your own skills and learning more about FJMC, if you want to play a bigger role in your club and your region, if you’re enthusiastic about bringing Jewish men together, then LDI might be for you. Talk to your club president and your region president to express interest in our Emerging Leaders program. Each region can designate two men to join this track each year, so this could be your opportunity to be noticed. This year’s track is led by Philip Godorov and Gary Smith – both former Emerging Leaders themselves.
Our Regional Leaders track, led by Dan Moldover and Paul Davidson, will bring together regional presidents and executive vice presidents to hone their skills and knowledge as they guide their regions and clubs. And once again, we are looking forward to welcoming a cohort of young, future leaders into our Hador Habah program, led by Mark Givarz, Dr. Jake Sheff and Rob Blitzer.
We have a great team that is already hard at work, and we look forward to delivering another successful, exciting, educational and fun experience!
