Looking forward… to convention

The Book of Deuteronomy is Moses’ address to the people. He reflects on all that they have gone through. In last month’s HaD’var, I also started to reflect on the mission and vision of FJMC, our committees, our publications and our retreats.

Now, and in future articles, I will look forward. Forward to all the amazing things we (meaning all of us) are bringing to all our brothers.

Walt Disney is quoted as saying: “We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

Convention is one of those paths. In just over 11 months (July 8–11, 2027), we will gather in San Francisco. All that we have achieved, all that we look forward to achieving, will be there for you. Check out the convention flyers and “What’s Happening at the 2027 convention!”

Yes, there are two paths you can go on, but in the long run – the path you have already started on, the one which leads to Friendship, Judaism, Mentorship and Community, I assure you is the correct one.

Don’t stop believing. Continue the Journey on the path to the promised land.
