Latest News from the Convention Chair

As we are about to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for Sukkot, we turn our attention towards convention and feast on some of the terrific programming we have in store for you and your regional brothers.

It’s still a bit early to finalize programming, but we do know that we are planning amazing entertainment, keynote speakers, and actionable and educational lessons that are important to you. We will also be highlighting our award-winning programs with the Torch Award ceremony, along with Quality Region and Quality Club Awards in a formal and highlighted format where everyone will get the kavod, the glory, honor and respect they so deserve. This will be presented before the entire convention attendees.

We have altered the convention schedule from conventions of the past and added some
inspirational spirit throughout convention. This will include ruach during some ritual services and pre-Shabbat. Get your dancing shoes on!

Our Torch Award winning programs will be on display for the entire convention instead of just for an hour on Sunday morning, with scheduled timeslots to interview the presenters. Our Ma’asim Tovim ceremony will be moved to Saturday evening as a stand-alone program, to pay tribute to the “Regional Man of the Year” as recognized by the executive board of your regions. The interview video will be streaming on our TV monitors throughout the entire convention.

Our “Evening of Entertainment” will take place on Thursday evening instead of Saturday, to allow for an early start to the program and to avoid worrying about rushing back to our rooms to pack for an early departure Sunday morning. The program we have planned will be an interactive and engaging night where there will be something for everyone! No one needs to sit in their seats and be passive.

This will be a fun night for all!
