Eric Kabakoff grew up in New Haven, CT, at the geographic intersection of three huge and dedicated fan bases. He became a baseball fan upon his first visit to a major league stadium as a ten-year-old in 1985. He eventually visited every major league baseball park and wrote about his experiences and the game’s relationships with its fans in Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages, which came out in 2013. He has continued to visit parks and write about the trips, having now visited 38 ballparks past and present.
Eric has spoken at the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Author recalls Major League ballpark journey | Local Sports | coopercrier.com) and has appeared on TV (Book Lovers: “Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages”) in addition to many other interviews and appearances.
