Born in British Mandated Palestine. Parents were Holocaust survivors.  Father served in the IDF. Moved to Canada in 1954. University in New York – B.A. (Stern College); M.A. (NYU). Moved back to Canada. Film business; teacher;. Travelled extensively in Europe. Lived for 6 years in Japan. Umbilical cord pulled her back to Canada. Put an ad in The Globe and Mail and found her Jewish doctor!. Got married; moved to Ottawa; got a PhD Retired with Husband back to Toronto. Three children; three spouses; 8 grandchildren. Public lectures; appearance at the Toronto Fringe; stand-up comedy; storytelling. Working on a memoir. Author of For This I Survived?: Children of Survivors Beyond the Trauma”
