Our holidays of Yom Hashoah, Yom Hazikaron and Yom Hatzmaout, converge each year on the Jewish Calendar at the end of Nissan and beginning of Iyar. Please plan to listen to Ms. Roneet Edrich of inSIGHT Through Education who will bring together the sad memories of the Shoah and subsequent birth of Israel made possible by the sacrifices of Jews fighting for Eretz Israel. We will never forget, and we proclaim, Never Again because we will never allow our enemies to destroy us without us fighting for our people. In this, the 81st anniversary of the end of WWII, we continue to face increased threats as did our parents or grandparents faced a century ago.
This webinar is co-sponsored by the FJMC Yellow Candle program; in the memory of the 6 million.
RONEET EDRICH
Throughout her career, Roneet Edrich has been a champion for Jewish continuity and a fierce advocate for social responsibility. As the Executive Director of inSIGHT Through Education, Roneet leads a mission-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides into a blueprint for modern-day courage. Under her leadership, inSIGHT empowers educators and students by providing the tools, grants, and specialized curriculum needed to recognize and oppose antisemitism, hatred, and bigotry at their roots.
Roneet’s strategic vision ensures that inSIGHT remains a vital resource for fostering kindness and respect, bridging the gap between historical awareness and contemporary advocacy. This work is a natural extension of her two decades of leadership—from serving as a school principal to her tenure as Associate Vice President of Planning & Holocaust Education at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
A “leader of leaders,” Roneet previously directed the March of the Living Southern Region, delivering transformative educational travel experiences that have shaped the Jewish identity of countless teens and adults. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with advanced training from Yad Vashem, she combines a background in special education with a deep-seated passion for experiential learning. Roneet lives in Parkland, Florida, with her husband, their three children, and two dogs, embodying the FJMC values of family, community, and tireless service.
