The United States Surgeon General has released an urgent Surgeon General’s Advisory on the Mental Health and Well-Being of Parents. This advisory highlights the critical need to better support parents, caregivers, and families, emphasizing that our collective efforts in this area are essential to the health and thriving of our communities..

To address this urgent need, FJMC offers a bi-weekly support group specifically for dads. This support group serves as a safe, confidential space where fathers can come together to share experiences, seek guidance, and support one another in the challenges of parenting.

The group is facilitated by Rabbi Noam Raucher, Executive Director of FJMC, and Psychologist, Dr. Gary Katz.  The sessions are rooted in Jewish values, offering spiritual and emotional support. They are open to all fathers who are part of the FJMC community.
